Last week, I talked about the pocket watch and the various ways we can restore, repair or repurpose that special heirloom. This week, I’d like to focus on vintage earrings, brooches and pins, and smaller items.
VINTAGE COSTUME EARRINGS
Not everything handed down consists of gold, diamonds or precious gems. Some items may be vintage costume pieces – but if it came from a loved one, it’s invaluable. While many of these items are plated, and cannot be repaired with solder, we have a jeweler that can work miracles and turn these precious items into a wearable piece.
BROOCHES AND PINS
Many of us love the look of a brooch or pin, but we simply don’t wear them. Let’s work together to turn it into a pendant, or even a centerpiece for a strand of pearls. The reverse is also true. Why not take that pendant that is rarely worn and turn it into a beautiful brooch.
