From time to time, I’d like to turn the spotlight on some of our amazing employees. I believe our store managers and staff are second-to-none, and one of the main reasons our customers keep coming back.
J’Lane Hundley came to Haltom’s in August 1997, as we opened our Northeast Tarrant County store in the Grapevine Towne Center. She is a perfect fit for our work culture and provides the very best customer service. She is a proud team player, and we’re so thankful she’ll soon be celebrating 20 years with us!
Here’s J’Lane:
“I am such a jewelry junkie! My parents started giving me fine pieces of jewelry at a fairly young age and I have been hooked ever since. I have been in the jewelry business for 37 years and have always loved jewelry but it wasn’t until I started working for Haltom’s that I became passionate about it. The breadth and quality of jewelry, watches and gifts we carry is truly amazing.
I honestly love all of it but I am so passionate about watches. I believe they are pieces of art. To think that something starts as a block of metal and a gifted craftsman can transform it into a beautiful timepiece is extraordinary to me!
I also love all the amazing designer lines we carry such as Roberto Coin, Marco Bicego, John Hardy, Lagos, Ippolita and Nina Nguyen (who is in the photo with me). Every year the Grapevine store hosts a charity event with the Colleyville Women’s Club. Our event this year was titled “Rock Around The Clock” and featured a Nina Nguyen Trunk Show and personal appearance. It was so fun and successful.
I get to make people happy every day. I am allowed the opportunity to share their most important life events. I also get to help people – whether they’re changing a watch battery, advising on a watch or jewelry repair, refurbishing a cherished family heirloom, or creating a “wishlist”for the next important occasion.”
Thank you for sharing your thoughts J’Lane. As you can read, there’s a reason most of her customers become her friends. Thank you for your dedication and passion, and we look forward to another 20 years!
