Every year, we attend Baselworld in Basel, Switzerland. The show, from March 23-30, is one of the world’s largest trade shows featuring the leading watch, jewelry, and precious gem manufacturers. There are approximately 1,500 exhibitors – with well over 100,000 expected to attend.
While the week consists of non-stop meetings, walking and talking, I am always stunned by the flowers in Basel, and all of Switzerland. They are over-the-top in quantity and quality, offering the best designs and colors. In fact, the colors seem brighter and deeper than the flowers I see in the United States.
While there is an amazing amount of beauty, glitz and glamor to be seen at this show, nothing beats the beauty that nature has to offer!
