What a weekend we had in Fort Worth! For the first time in 21 years, we were home for the Memorial Day weekend.
We grilled steaks, attended the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, kept an eye on the Colonial, waltzed over to Billy Bob’s for a Jerry Jeff Walker concert, and gave thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
I hope everyone has the opportunity to attend the Cliburn. This is the finest, most prestigious classical music event in the world. And it’s in our backyard! The semifinal and final rounds remain, and tickets can be purchased at cliburn.org. Every performance will also be live streamed.
Family, friends, cookouts, concerts, a golf tournament, and Memorial Day celebrations … what a wonderful place we call home.
