Last month, we highlighted four members of our Downtown Team, including Nichole, Janece, Elizabeth, and Holly. If you missed it, you can find it here. This month, we’d like to turn the spotlight on the two remaining members of our Downtown Team.
John Clingman and Melissa Hays have been with Haltom’s for a combined 52 years! They bring decades of knowledge and experience that not only benefits our customers, but provides a resource to our other employees.
As I said previously, this team can handle every situation that arises; from the most complicated repairs and restoration, to advice on watches and diamonds, to forging friendships with so many customers.
John Clingman is one of our very best employees. He has a great attention to store detail and is dedicated to community involvement.
“I have been with Haltom’s for 25 years, and enjoy working for a family-owned business with a great reputation. As a watch collector, it is amazing to work with the finest Swiss watch brands. In addition, I get to train and learn from the best watchmakers and jewelers which enables me to help customers pick the perfect diamond or watch for that special occasion.”
Melissa Hays is a terrific team member who offers amazing customer service and individual achievement. She is a self-starter and we can always count on her to make our customers happy.
“I have been with Haltom's a little over 27 years! It is such a privilege to work for a family-owned company. Their generosity to their employees is unmatched.
Our customers are not just customers – they turn into a long-term relationships and friendships. I truly enjoy people and I’ve never met a stranger. Our purpose is to help anyone who walks into the door feel at home.
I love working with fine jewelry and luxury time pieces. I was recently invited to Geneva, Switzerland, to visit Patek Philippe where everything is made in-house and by hand. What an amazing experience! I am blessed to work here. It is an amazing company.”
We thank John and Melissa for their loyalty and commitment. I continue to be amazed by, and grateful for, our Haltom’s family.
