Sometimes I dream of a project, work through the twists, turns and changes - and the end result is wonderful. This is the case with the Haltom’s limited edition 125th anniversary scarf.
I first thought about this two years ago. Using our downtown sketch, along with many iconic Haltom's and jewelry motifs, we worked for several months on this design. I wanted to make sure the quality equaled our passion for design … it took 22 silk screens to get the colors just right!
The 36-inch silk twill scarf has hand-rolled edges, and we used shades of turquoise and coral to make it Fort Worth friendly. The design pays homage to our Western culture with conchos and rope. It also offers a nod to the past with the Haltom's Horns design from the 1940's. Coral, pearls, turquoise stones and tassels along with the gilt trim on our clock to complete the look.
