We first sold this pearl and diamond choker and bracelet more than 30 years ago, and our customer was ready for an update. When you have fine quality 18K gold and diamonds combined with gem-quality pearls, the task of creating a new piece becomes more pleasure than work.
We drew a few design options and decided to use the centerpieces of both the necklace and bracelet as side pieces to a new center. The centerpiece - with baroque pearls, diamonds and mother of pearl cabochons - is a knockout, and is important enough to balance the existing diamond sections.
Our customer is thrilled with the new piece, and we can hardly wait to see her wearing this statement necklace with an all-white ensemble this summer.
