Sarah and Travis were engaged on August 3, 2018, while on a “business” trip to New York. We have to hand it to Travis, who did some extra work to completely surprise Sarah with his proposal.
The previous year, the two had dinner at a nice restaurant in Brooklyn. It sits right along the river and has a beautiful rose garden right in front. She thought it was one of the prettiest places she had ever seen. They returned to the same restaurant last August and while taking a stroll through the garden, Travis handed her a letter.
The letter was so sweet and loving – it was then that Sarah realized Travis was about to propose. And he did. (And kudos to Travis for hiring a photographer to capture the moment.)
Sarah tried on rings at Haltom’s in Grapevine. With the help of J’Lane as well as her sister, she selected an oval diamond with a yellow gold cathedral mounting with diamonds going down the shank. Her wedding ring is yellow gold with diamonds totaling ¾ carats.
Sarah is a 3rd grade teacher at Valley Ranch Elementary for the Coppell ISD. Travis works in commercial real estate. Their wedding is this Saturday, March 9th, and we want to wish them all the best on their special day, and for many years to come. Congratulations!
