How wonderful to get some good news …
Francesca and Peter met in 2012, in the first class on their first day of their freshman year in high school. They became close friends and stayed that way through school. As their prom approached, they decided to go together and that marked the beginning of their romantic story.
Francesca attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison and studied biology while Peter studied engineering at IUPUI in Indianapolis. Their long distance relationship even endured Francesca’s four-month study abroad program in Spain.
After eight years as best friends and four years as a couple, Peter popped the question on April 23, 2020 … and she said yes! (Look how clever these two are with their tape measure.)
Because they were in the upper Midwest area, Liz, who works in our downtown store, used photos and emails to help Peter pick out a gorgeous sapphire ring - and Francesca absolutely loves it.
They look forward to getting married next year in Playa del Carmen, and will live together in Madison, Wisconsin following their wedding. Our heartfelt congratulations on your engagement, and many thanks for sharing your wonderful news when we needed it most!
