At Haltom’s, we always offer no-charge battery replacements for your watch. In lieu of a charge, we accept a donation in any amount. During the month of December, we’re sending your donations to Patriot Paws, an organization that trains service dogs for veterans.
The Patriot Paws team gave a presentation to our group with the dogs and their trainers. It was amazing! Trainers from the women’s prison work with the dog, and when the time comes, they are assigned to a veteran in need. The dogs are trained to help with a number of tasks – from standing up to picking up a credit card or pen from the floor.
