Haltom’s would like to congratulate Emily Novak and Andrew Renfro on their recent engagement! These two met in January 2016, while students at Texas A&M University, and Andrew proposed this past Thanksgiving Day.
Andrew and his mom worked with J’Lane at our Grapevine location, and they picked out the perfect diamond. He also wanted to incorporate six diamonds from his grandmother’s ring, but wanted Emily’s input. They stopped by again in February, and we measured the diamonds from his grandmother’s ring then ordered an 18kt white gold mounting.
The six diamonds from his grandmother’s ring totaled .76 carat weight, and perfectly enhanced the 1.01 round brilliant solitaire he purchased in November. They picked up their beautiful engagement ring last Saturday, and they were thrilled!
Andrew is an entomologist with the City of Irving, and Emily is working on her Master’s degree in Criminal Justice at UNT. They’re getting married October 23, 2021, at the Rosemary Barn in McKinney.
