I have always loved coins used in jewelry. So I was thrilled when a customer requested an update on her mother’s US $20 gold coin and diamond pendant. We took the coin out of the old mounting (will use the diamonds in another remodel later) and placed it in a simple gold frame. We added a clip-on diamond bale and layered it with another small pendant - very current but timeless.
I can only imagine how many old coins and never worn pendants are in our jewelry boxes! This is such an easy and inexpensive refresh. If you’ve got buried treasure, dig it out and give us a call or stop by.
