Our restoration of these broken Italian platters got one hubby out of trouble. The artist matches the colors, fabricates new pottery and pieces it together with a liquid slurry of pottery paste, then glazes the platters again. Remarkable craftsmanship. The work is expensive but totally worth it for sentimental and irreplaceable pieces.
