The new Tudor Pelagos FXD model is available with two straps. A one-piece, forest-green fabric strap with self-gripping fastening system is adorned with a red central thread and the additional one-piece black rubber strap is embossed with a fabric motif. Historically, the US Navy oftentimes had their divers fitting their Tudor watches with fabric straps, typically black or green and one-piece, made out of nylon. The two straps of the Pelagos FXD serve as a nod to this military tradition of wearing watches on straps rather than bracelets.
