My name is Ladye Ann Miller and I am not only Vice President of Haltom’s, I am the store manager of the downtown Fort Worth location. Here’s a little about my background …
I did not know it at the time, but I found my career path at a very early age. From getting a rock tumbler and a polishing cloth in the 3rd grade to working in the Neiman Marcus giftwrap department as a junior in high school – I loved rocks, gems and luxury retail, and those passions melded together to bring me to Haltom’s.
I have been with this company for 37 years and I would describe my time here as a love affair. Timepieces, fine diamonds, designer jewelry, precious metals, high fashion and classics – there is no ceiling on the knowledge involved in this industry. To this day, I am still thrilled to look through a loupe and see the facets of a gem or the construction of a piece of jewelry.
When it comes to our customers, I think of myself as their personal shopper. I keep a mental list of our customers’ preferences, take those ideas to the Basel Fair in Switzerland, and bring back the most interesting, beautiful pieces. I am also a provider and caretaker of family heirlooms that may be passed down for generations. What an honor to be a part of that!
Haltom’s has been in business for 125 years. We are one of the oldest continuing establishments in Fort Worth, and I take great pride in being a steward of all that Haltom’s represents to our customers and our community.
Our customer service is local and I would love to help you with a new purchase, restoring a favorite piece of jewelry, and everything in between.
